Ed Watson is a realist artist who paints small format oil paintings of figures, still life, landscape and other subjects.  He attended the American Academy of Art in Chicago as well as other local schools.

Watson is a member of the Daily Painters Art Gallery (dailypainters.com), a juried gallery of daily painting artists.  Watson completed and posted his 100th painting on Nov 30, 2008.  This exhibit is a selection of paintings from his blog.

this image.  Most of the face and figure was lit by the cool light coming
from the window.  Yet there was a yellow light that warmed up
the shadow side of the face, that I thought created a nice contrast."]
