Painting by U Khin Shwe

U Khin Shwe was born in 1948 in Rangoon.  He completed his education in 1970 at the State School of Fine Arts.  He is a member of the Vision Art Group and has participated in more than 30 exhibition in Burma.  His paintings mostly reflect daily life scenes in Burma.

Painting by Thein Soe

Thein Soe was born in 1972 in Rangoon and studied at the State School of Fine Arts.  He has participated in several shows in Burma and now lives and works in Kalaw.  As with most artists in the traditional Burmese society, he often focuses on Buddhist subjects through the use of watercolors, or at times painting with black lead sulfide.
