Ignacio Silva is a South American painter, born in Guayaquil, Ecuador.  His watercolor paintings and works in ink have been exhibited in one person and group exhibitions in Ecuador, and are held in private art collections in Argentina, Ecuador, Italy, and United States.  His constant existential quest (existentialism*) caused him to create what he calls a "silent language" of images and icons that may seem simple at first sight but which carry a very complex and deep meaning.
