Born in Muharraq, Bahrain, in 1970, Khalid Al Tahmazi has a degree in computer science.  He is a systems analyst and has been a member of the Bahrain Arts Society since 1990.  An admirer of surrealism art, his paintings reflect his artistically rich Arabic culture and an emotional spirit that visually records the creation of an expression of self.  The work may develop in the form of women characters or the portrait of a woman--even if the woman figure does not appear, his emotional impressions will be the final symphony expressed on the canvas.

Tahmazi's works have been exhibited in Bahrain, Egypt, France, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, and United Arab Emirates.
