Nude Paintings by Ron Reeves Meadow

Ron Reeves Meadow, a native Californian, is a self-taught artist who began his artistic explorations in 1988. He produces art in a variety of media including sculpture, stained glass, acrylic and oil painting, jewelry, and drawing. His figurative paintings demonstrate his extensive study of human anatomy gained while earning his doctorate from Texas Chiropractic College and 20 years of practice. Ron's award-winning sculptures and paintings have been exhibited in many juried shows and galleries in California and New Mexico.

"We are surrounded at every moment by the swirling energies of Life, from which we emerge and into which we will soon merge again. Human incarnation is an opportunity to explore and express the mystery and majesty of the Universe and join in its never-ending creative dance. We are not and cannot ever be separate from the living essence of the Universe, but are expressions of it. We are spirits in the sacred vessels of bodies who come to this place to celebrate the beauty of existence. These ideas are the central inspiration to my art. . .My nudes explore the expressiveness of the human body and frequently tell stories about people, their relationships, joy, humor, inner world, spirituality, and other aspects of this dance of life."
