Nguyen Dinh Dang of Vietnam Nguyen Dinh Dang was born in Hanoi, Vietnam, in 1958. For the past two decades, Dang's painting has shifted from impressionism to surrealism, whose most eminent representative, Salvador Dali, remains one of Dang's favorites. A self-taught painter, Dang believes it is not important to explain the literal context of any artwork. "In the creative process of both art and science, the most important thing is intuition. You feel something intuitively. You cannot explain how it comes to you," he says. |

How to find an artist's exhibit
Art work is arranged alphabetically, first by country and then by artist's last name.
1. Select an artist's name from the list below. This will take you to the artist's exhibit. From any artist's exhibit, you can view other artists' exhibits by selecting "Previous artist" or "Next artist" at the bottom of the page. "Next artist" will take you alphabetically forward through the artists' exhibits in continuous loop. "Previous artist" reverses the loop.
2. Select a country alphabetical link (AB, C, DEF, etc.) from the bottom of the page.
3. Use the onsite Google search engine-- a quick and easy way to search all gallery content, by country name, artist's name, or by any search term of your choice. The bottom of each page has a link to the Google search engine.
