Javier Azurdia received a grant for accomplished superior studies in the Fine Arts Academy of Florence, Italy, where he obtained a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts in 1986, and a Masters Degree in the restoration of artworks in the International University of the Art in Florence, Italy in 1987.

His oil paintings works have been exhibited in France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and United States, and can be found in private collections in Europe, Latin America, and United States.
