Ragen Mendenhall, 28, is from Las Vegas, Nevada.  In 1996 she attended The Art Institute of Seattle on a full-tuition scholarship.  After graduating, she moved to Sedona, Arizona.  Ragen's visionary and fantasy art work has been exhibited throughout the United States.   Her paintings have graced the covers of books and CDs and her self-published print collection can now be found in a growing number of stores and galleries across the country.

The theme of Ragen's art work is inspired by nature and the infinite variety of colors, shapes, and forms that surround us in such a subtle way they often go unnoticed.  Her style is influenced by the international "Art Nouveau" ("new art") movement  that was popular at the beginning of the 20th century, a decorative art style often characterized by intricate curving patterns of flowers and leaves.   Read more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art_nouveau .

Today, Ragen creates her art work in Phoenix.  Her original paintings and drawings are on display at Pandora's Box in Chandler, Arizona.
