Lena Kurovska was born in Kiev, Ukraine, in 1969.  In 1997 she was graduated from the National Academy of Art and Architecture, where she was influenced by the works of the prominent impressionists.  Kurovska paints her landscapes en plein air ("in the open air") wherever she travels.  Her media include oils, acrylics, and pastel.

Kurovska's works have been exhibited in United Kingdom, and are in private collections in France, Great Britain, Japan, Netherlands, and United States.
