Marina Koloeridi began her professional training as an artist when she was six; her first professional exhibition took place when she was 14.  She was admitted to the Academy of Arts when she was 15.  She learned the techniques of the Renaissance masters through a wide range of artistic expression, such as sculptures, frescoes, portraits, and ceramics.  Her works are found in private collections and in museums in Denmark, Germany, Greece, Japan, Russia, and Switzerland.  A more detailed description of her artistic accomplishments and the works she now creates can be seen at her website (link at bottom of page).

Koloeridi works in a wide range of media and color, but this exhibit intentionally focuses upon her black and white oil paintings.
