Mollie Kellogg’s acrylic figurative paintings focus on human experience.  Themes of maternal, poetic and mystical love are prominent in her work.  Her technique integrates loose uncontrolled overlaying, pouring and building of colors and forms with traditional modeling.

Mollie studied art in Colorado starting her career in graphic design and illustration.  In 1992, she co-founded Planet Earth Multi-Cultural Theatre and Gallery in Phoenix, Arizona.  In 2002, Mollie moved from Seattle, Washington to San Diego, California where she is working full-time as an artist.  Most recently Mollie is involved in developing a new “Gallery Series” and a number of commissions.
