Denmark
Helge Jensen was born in 1944 in the southern part of the small island of Fyn (also known as Funen) in the country of Denmark. A member of Nordisk Pastel Forum (www.nordiskpastelforum.dk), Jensen works almost exclusively with soft pastels. His pastels have been exhibited in Denmark, Finland, Germany, Norway, Poland, and Sweden.
A photographer since 1962, Jensen is an illustrator and graphic designer in a book publishing firm in Odense, the birthplace of fairytale writer Hans Christian Andersen.

Helge Jensen's birthplace, Fyn, is the third largest island of Denmark, located in the central part of the country. Fyn's most famous landmark is Egeskov Castle.
