Sculpture from Italy
by Antonella Iurilli Duhamel
Belvedere Marittimo, a small village on the highest knoll of the northern Calabria coast of Italy, is where Antonella Iurilli Duhamel was born in 1954. Her education was influenced by her mixed family roots and the many places she has lived. She is a sculptor, painter, and psychologist, with a university background in linguistics, anthropology, and psychology.
Antonella is a member of the Italian Society for Fine Arts in Verona, the Quebecois Society for Fine Arts (Canada), and the International Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis of New York. Her works are present in private collections in Canada, Italy, and United States. She spends her summers in her birthplace working on a sunny terrace just in front of the sea.
