Gottardo Ciapanna  was born in Nereto, Italy, on April 27, 1955.  As a youth, his schooling emphasized classical studies.  He then completed medical school at the University of Bologna and became a surgeon-dentist.  Dr. Ciapanna lives in Martinsicuro, Province of Teramo, Abruzzo, Italy.
