To be published, your art work must have an "eye"

Most art websites exhibit a wide variety of works, including landscapes, street scenes, and still life.  The emphasis here is on human figures.  The Images of Eyes Gallery is unique because it exhibits ONLY images that (1) include an eye (such as in portraiture or figurative paintings), or (2) suggest the presence of an eye.  The exhibits below demonstrate the distinctions between the two.

Personal preferences

Sorry, but abstract paintings, anime, pop art, or framed paintings of any kind are not exhibited.

This call is open to all artists in all media

All art must be your own original work.  If accepted for publication, your art work will be featured on the homepage for about 2-3 weeks.  The works in your portfolio become a permanent exhibit.  Nude art work is exhibited in Images of Eyes Gallery II.  All other art work is exhibited in Images of Eyes Gallery I.

The exhibit includes your contact information, such as email address and website address, so interested viewers or prospective buyers can contact you directly.  Your phone number and address can be included if you wish.  We do not buy or sell anything, or act as agent, broker, or middleman.

No red tape.  There is no registration, no agreement to sign.  There is no cost to you.

Tell us about your art work

1.  Include a website address or other URL address where your works can be viewed.

2.  Tell us what country you are from.   Many artists' biographies or their websites do not have this information.  If we don't know where you were born (or the country you wish to be associated with), your works cannot be exhibited, because all exhibits are arranged alphabetically by country name.

3.  Please DO NOT send jpg (jpeg) image files unless we ask for them.

Please be assured that all responses to this call for artists are read and that your works are reviewed and considered for exhibition, but a personal acknowledgment or reply is not always possible.  If, however, there is interest in exhibiting your work, you can expect an email saying so within 7-10 days.  Depending on work in the queue, and the content of the exhibit, your works could be published in 2-3 weeks.
