Fiji

Jane Borg was born in Guyra, Australia, and has lived in Fiji since 1990.  She is a self-taught artist and is Fiji's most prominent painter.  Her oil paintings are in public and private collections in Australia, Fiji, France, New Zealand, Scotland, and United States.  She designed the stamps for the Post Fiji Millennium collection.  The traditions and cultures of the South Pacific have a major influence on her work in terms of color and theme.

Jane has won numerous awards and prizes, mainly for her multi-cultural portrait paintings of women and children of Fiji.
